“5x5x5” Lumia 535 is the first Microsoft branded smartphone

The Lumia 535 is the first Microsoft branded smartphone to come out since the demise of Nokia. It comes with a 5 inch qHD display, 5MP main camera and a 5MP front cam; hence the “5x5x5” naming.

The Microsoft Lumia 535 features a 5 inch display (960 x 540 resolution; 220 ppi), Corning Glass 3, a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a microSD expansion slot. Both cameras on the Lumia 535 have a 5MP resolution. It will run the latest Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim, along with Microsoft’s free apps and services.

The smartphone will cost around EUR 110 before any taxes and subsidies (that’s roughly P6,200) and will come in cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey and black.
