Samsung recently launched the Gear S2 smartwatch at the newly inaugurated Samsung Galaxy Studio at the SM Mall of Asia. The wearable features a round face, a beautiful AMOLED display and upgraded internals.
Samsung really did a good job on the Gear S2. The company’s first round smartwatch is powered by Tizen, the Korean tech giant’s home grown OS. It features a 1.2 inch AMOLED touch display with a resolution of 360 x 360. Inside, you’ll find a dual-core 1.0 GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. The storage can also save music files.
The Gear S2 introduces the rotating bezel, an innovative and convenient way to navigate the menus and select apps.
The Galaxy Studio is the perfect venue to showcase the Gear S2. The space was allows people to experience Samsung’s latest and greatest devices from smartphones to wearables to its new breed of connected multimedia accessories.
“Our starting point was a deep understanding of our consumers—what they wanted & what they really needed from their mobile device ecosystem. From there, we created technology designed to address their ever-evolving needs; but we also wanted to present these solutions in a way that sought to transform their usage experience, based on Samsung’s distinct brand of innovation,” explains Chad Sotelo, Head of Corporate Marketing at Samsung Electronics Philippines.
The space was segmented into several hubs, each one dedicated to the Gear S2, the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+, as well as Samsung’s new breed of connected accessories – including the Gear VR virtual reality headset, and Level On Pro wireless headphones.
You can visit the Samsung Galaxy Studio from November 27 to December 5, 2015 at the SM Mall of Asia Cyberzone to experience the latest in Samsung’s mobile device innovations.
