nokia 6 specs

When the Nokia 6 launched last January, it was only officially available in China. This time, HMD Global is making the phone, well, global.

Nokia has just announced the global availability of the Nokia 6. Launched last January, the phone made its debut in China. This time, the phone will be available everywhere else but just have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (the China version has a 4GB/63GB combination).

The Nokia 6 will also come out with an Arte Black Limited Edition variant. This one boasts a glossy black body and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The rest of the specs will remain the same as the regular model.

The Nokia 6 features an aluminum unibody build, a 5.5-inch display and a fairly affordable price tag. Under the hood you have a (underwhelming) Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and an Adreno 505 GPU. It has a 16MP main camera, along with an 8MP front camera.

The international variant is welcome news to fans and nostalgic buyers. As you may have heard, some of our friends (local bloggers) were able to get some hands on the Nokia 6. And one of the more common gripes was that it does not come with Google apps like Gmail and the Google Play Store. Meaning if you want to install apps, you would have to either use the supplied third party app store or side load.
