Cloudfone Lite Senior Phones Launched for the Elderly; Features SOS Button

Cloudfone launches the Cloudfone Lite Senior with SOS button. As the name implies, the phones are for users aged 60 and above.

Good guy Cloudfone knows what our elderly folks need — a simple phone that comes with an emergency feature for their loved one’s peace of mind. Enter the Cloudfone Lite Senior (Bar) and the Cloudfone Lite Senior (Flip). Both handsets are feature phones that come with an innovative SOS button that automatically activates an alarm, sends emergency text messages, and calls up to five different emergency contacts in just one press.

SOS Button

The SOS button is placed in front of the Flip and at the back of the Bar. So what happens when it’s activated during an emergency? Once pressed, it will first start making a loud alarm sound that signals an emergency. It then starts to make emergency calls and texts continuously, going through the registered contact numbers one after the other. It won’t stop the alerts unless the phone answers the call.

Cloudfone CSR Activity

As a way to give back to the community, Cellprime Group, the makers for Cloudfone, treated 20 senior patients from the Martinez Memorial Hospital in Caloocan City to free Lite Senior phones during the company’s Cloudfone Peace of Mind Activity. A demonstration of the SOS button was held to show its effectiveness during emergencies.

Price and Availability

The Cloudfone Lite Senior Flip and the Cloudfone Lite Senior Bar is now available in Cloudfone kiosks and partner distributors. Suitable for elderly folks aged 60 and above, the Flip has a retail price of Php1,299, while the Bar goes for Php799.
