Globe first introduced the CloudFone and it appears that it is now an independent brand. A slew of CloudFone models have appeared in the Philippines in the past months and the newest to have been released is the CloudFone Excite 450q.
The CloudFone Excite 450q is a quad-core phone that retails for only P4,999. CloudFone claims that this is the cheapest quad-core phone so far so if you know some other quad-core phones out there that carry a cheaper price tag, hit the comments section below. The CloudFone Excite 450q is not the first quad-core device from CloudFone as that distinction belongs to the CloudFone Thrill 450q.
The CloudFone Excite 450q packs a 4.5-inch IPS FWVGA touchscreen a 5-megapixel rear camera with no flash and no auto-focus, and a front camera with unknown capacity. The other main specs of the CloudFone Excite 450q include a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processor, a rather small 4GB internal storage and 512 MB RAM. Thankfully, the internal storage can be expanded through the phone’s microSD card slot which can accommodate up to 32GB of extra storage capacity.
