According to HMD Global, Nokia will update all its current line of Android smartphones to Android 8.0 Oreo.

Hey, good news to Nokia owners. The Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and flagship Nokia 8 smartphones will be getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update. Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, confirmed as much on Twitter.
All of our smartphones will upgrade to Oreo, Nokia 3 included. No comments yet on timing so that I don’t get into trouble ?.

So it looks like the whole line is getting Oreo. From the entry level Nokia 3, all the way up to the flagship Nokia 8. Although no date has been mentioned, at least Nokia owners can sleep soundly knowing they’re going to get the latest Android update.
