OPPO F5 Named and Shown on Mall Poster

Our eagle-eyed friends from Noypigeeks spotted posters of the OPPO F5. The general consensus is that it will have an 18:9 form factor and a 6-inch display.

It looks like the cat’s out of the bag. OPPO has unofficially announced the coming of the OPPO F5 in the form of wall to wall posters in SM Megamall. The phone was originally spotted in an Instagram post by Julia Baretto. On the video, the star showed the phone that included a challenge to take “the best selfie” at the Starmagic Ball.

From what we’ve seen so far, the OPPO F5 looks to sport a 6-inch display with an 18:9 screen ratio. The fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back, possibly to make room for more space up front; which could mean a near bezel-less design and the removal of the home button.

We can also expect a single rear camera as seen on Julia Baretto’s Instagram post, and possibly an impressive selfie camera.

Not much else was revealed, but we are expecting the OPPO F5 to officially launch sometime October 2017.
