OPPO Find X8 Pro to sport dual periscope cameras, Dimensity 9400

OPPO product manager Zhou Yibao confirmed that the Find X8 Pro will be unveiled at a global launch on October 24, 2024, featuring an industry-first dual periscope Hasselblad camera system.

While OPPO has not yet revealed any official specs of the Find X8 Pro, the company listed some of its key features on its Chinese website.

MediaTek Dimensity 9400

Under the hood, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset with AI capabilities and a large 5,910mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.

Moreover, it will have a 6.78-inch quad micro curved display with a thickness of just 8.24mm and weighs only 215g. The screen is expected to be an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also appears to have what looks like an alert slider.

As for its cameras, rumors suggest a 50MP Sony LYT-800 main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide lens will join its periscope camera. Interestingly, the LED flash is placed in the upper right corner, instead of the camera module.

OPPO Find X8 Pro

The handset will be available in several configurations, with 12GB or 16GB RAM options and up to 1TB storage. The top model will also offer satellite communication.

Based on the early details, the OPPO Find X8 Pro looks like a formidable flagship phone. We’ll find out more details when the phone launches later in the day.
