Sun LTE: Gumaganda Ang Araw Mo

Hey folks, its been awhile since we heard anything new from Sun Cellular. I thought the network was going to be absorbed by Smart when they were left out of the logo changes. Turns out I was wrong because they are back with a new LTE network.

Sun’s new LTE network coverage makes it possible for existing Sun subscribers to take advantage of LTE speeds for surfing, streaming videos and music, playing games and more. To make this possible, they are offering their subscribers a free upgrade to a new LTE-ready SIM. This means you get LTE and you get to keep your phone number too. To get the upgrade, existing Sun Prepaid subscribers need only visit any Sun Shop nationwide. A new Sun LTE Prepaid SIM can also be purchased for Php35. Postpaid subscribers will get the free SIM upgrade within the month.

With the new network, Sun is going to offer new LTE data offers. One such offer is the Sun Big Time Data 70, which comes with 1GB data, unlimited texts to all networks, and 30 minutes of calls to Sun, valid for 7 days for only Php70. To register, simply text BDATA70 to 247.
