The Huawei Nova 2i made a splash when it launched over the weekend. Over 1000 units were sold in less than an hour. Don’t fret if you missed out on that one. You can still get the handset with Smart Postpaid Plan 799.
The Huawei Nova 2i is now available for pre-order with Smart Postpaid. With an additional PHP500 per month on top of Plan 799, you get the handset plus 8GB of open access data, unlimited text to all networks, 40 minutes of all-net calls, and 500MB access to Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp and Viber. If you’re interested in getting one, all you have to do is go to the nearest Smart Store.
It is available through other Smart Postpaid Plans as well. Just add the device fee of PHP500 a month for Plans 399 to 799, and PH 300 for Plan 999 to 2,999. It comes with a lock-in period of 30 months.

The Nova 2i boasts dual front and back cameras, a 5.9-inch 18:9 full HD display, a metal unibody, and an octa-core processor. The 5.9-inch IPS display has a full HD resolution and an 81.7% screen-to-body ratio. For added protection, the phone ships with a pre-installed screen protector.

The rear camera uses a combination of 16MP and a secondary 2MP sensor. It comes with autofocus and an LED flash. The front facing camera uses a 13MP and a 2MP shooter, allowing the user to create impressive portraits with blurred backgrounds. It also comes with an LED flash. The dual camera setup allows for blurred backgrounds for more compelling photos. It also lets users re-adjust the focus right after a shot was taken.
Under the hood, the Nova 2i is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 powers the Nova 2i. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset also comes with a back mounted fingerprint sensor, an audio jack, and a 3,340 mAh battery.
