It’s finally available! The iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus are now available at the Smart Online Store and Smart Stores nationwide. You can get the iOS devices starting at Plan 599, all the way up to Plan 2500.
For those wondering about installment plans, the iPhone 8 64GB can be yours for as low as PHP2,499 a month (for 2 years contract). Broken down, that’s PHP1,000 device cost per month plus the monthly service fee for Plan 1499. That adds up to just PHP24,000 for the device. This includes 9GB of open access data, unlimited text to all networks, 60 minutes of calls to all networks, and access to one free app per month.
On the other hand, the iPhone 8 Plus 64GB can be yours for as low as PHP2,699 a month. That’s PHP1,200 device cost per month and the monthly service fee for Plan 1499. This also comes with 2 year contract, and includes 9GB of open access data, unlimited text to all networks, and 60 minutes of calls to all networks, and access to one free app per month.

Phone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus come with Retina HD IPS LCD displays with the former measuring in at 4.7-inch screen and the latter with 5.5-inches. Inside, the iOS devices are powered by an A11 Bionic processor, with an embedded M11 motion co-processor. Both have glass front and back panels with an aerospace-grade aluminum frame. They also have IP67 splash, dust and water resistance.

As for the cameras, the iPhone 8 packs a 12MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens. The 8 Plus boasts a dual rear camera setup of 12MP+12MP with one providing a wide-angle and the other telephoto. Both devices cameras are equipped with OIS, PDAF, quad LED True Tone flash, 4K video shooting capability, and a sapphire crystal lens cover.
