ASUS officially launches the ASUS Zenfone 5 in the Philippines. The phone features a 6.2-inch 19:9 display, dual cameras.

The Zenfone 5 is now official in the Philippines. One of this year’s highly anticipated devices features a large 6.2-inch display, dual rear cameras, and Android Oreo out of the box.

Fans who bought the unit onsite on launch day was able to get as much as PHP 10,000 worth of freebies. The first 200 buyers of the Zenfone 5 received a JBL Flip 4 Bluetooth speaker (PHP6,995), a JBL T450 Headset (PHP1,699), and a Zenfone hoodie (PHP1,599).

The ASUS Zenfone 5 features a 6.2-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

The handset comes with dual rear cameras powered by Sony IMX363 sensors. The secondary camera has a wider angle and a host of AI enhancements that include auto scene detection, real-time portrait effects, AI Photo Learning, and more. The front camera uses an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 lens.

The ASUS Zenfone 5 is now available in the Philippines with a retail price of PHP 19,995 (roughly USD 386).
