The most interesting and standout feature of the OPPO Find X is most definitely the Stealth 3D Cameras. The front and rear cameras are housed on a motorized panel that automatically rises or ‘pops up’ when the phone’s camera app is opened. It has a 25MP front camera, and the 20MP + 16MP dual rear cameras.

The OPPO Find X fronts a large 6.4-inch 19.5:9 full HD+ display they call the Panoramic Arc Screen. It does not have a notch, has very slim bezels, and a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio.

As for its internal specifications, the handset boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB RAM and an Adreno 630 graphics unit. It comes in two storage capacities, namely 128GB or 256GB, with no  provision for a microSD card.

For security, the phone relies on ‘O-Face’ face unlock technology, and ditched the fingerprint sensor altogether. The motorized camera panel pops-up when the phone wakes up, and scans the users face to unlock the device, which according to OPPO, takes just 0.5 seconds.

The same 3D sensors also allow users to create omojis (their version of animojis). It uses the technology to scan your face and overlaps the animated emojis which can be saved and shared through messenger apps.

The phone also has no headphone jack. According to the company, foregoing the port allows a tighter seal for added water resistance. The IP rating is currently unspecified.

The OPPO Find X will be available for pick up starting August 6, 2018. Pre-orders are now open until August 1, 2018. The phone’s price has not yet been made available, but rumors are pointing to an amount somewhere around PHP66,000.
