Cebu Pacific’s GetGo reports data breach

GetGo, Cebu Pacific’s rewards platform, recently reported a data breach involving one of their servers.

On a statement posted on their website, there was an unauthorized access to a GetGo application server on Wednesday, April 24. The server has since been secured, but access to any of their online channels, including the GetGo website and mobile app, have been temporarily disabled.

The company has since alerted the National Privacy Commission or NPC, and has began its investigation to look into the incident.

GetGo claims no credit card information were stored in the server. Likewise, GetGo points are also secured.
