Xiaomi has just launched two new mid-range smartphones, the Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, in India. The two handsets have identical design and hardware, save for a few upgrades for the Max variant.
Starting at the front, they both have a 6.67-inch full HD DotDisplay with a 2400 x 1080 resolution, a punch hole camera and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Inside, the two are powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with 5,020mAh batteries and 18W fast charging support.

The phones have a total of five cameras each. The Note 9 Pro sports a 48MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro + 2MP depth rear camera setup, with a 16MP selfie shooter. While the Max variant has a 64MP main and the same set of secondary cameras, plus a 32MP for selfies.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro has 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB options, priced at INR 12,999 (PHP 9,000) and INR 15,999 (PHP 11,100), respectively.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, on the other hand, has 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB options, priced at INR 14,999 (PHP 10,400), INR 16,999 (PHP 11,800), and INR 18,999 (PHP 13,200), respectively.
