The Huawei Mate Xs is now available for pre-order in the Philippine. Announced globally last February, Huawei’s foldable phone comes in with a price of PHP 139,999.
For those looking to pre-order, the Mate Xs is being offered online on Lazada, Shopee, MemoXpress, Intogadgets, Aerophone, and Silicon Valley.
Pre-orders will come with a pair of Huawei FreeBuds 3 valued at PHP 8,990, and 50GB cloud storage for three months.
To recap, the Huawei Mate XS is the company’s second foldable smartphone. When folded, the phone features a 6.6-inch display with another 6.38-inch display on the other side. When wide open, the phone reveals a huge 8-inch almost square display with a 2480 x 2200 resolution.
Under the hood, the Mate XS is powered by a 2.86GHz Kirin 990 5G processor with 8GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 55-watt fast charging. It has a total of four cameras placed on its “spine” — a 40MP f/1.8 main, 16MP f//2.2 ultra-wide, 8MP f/2.4 telephoto, and ToF sensor for improved edge detection.
For selfies, it uses the same set of cameras which faces either front/back while folded. There’s also the side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
The Mate XS comes with EMUI 10 based on Android 10 with Huawei Mobile Services or HMS and the AppGallery for apps.
