realme announced two midrange powerhouse smartphones in the realme X7 Pro and realme X7. The handsets debuted in India featuring Dimensity chipsets and bang-for-buck price tags.
The realme X7 Pro with the lone configuration of 8GB + 128GB has a price of INR 29,999 (around ~Php 19,800).
The realme X7, on the other hand, comes in two configurations. The 6GB + 128GB model has a price of INR 19,999 (~Php 13,200), while the 8GB + 128GB model has a price of INR 21,999 (~Php 14,500).
The two phones are coming to India via Flipkart. Interestingly, the company introduced an innovative upgrade system named real Upgrade Program.
Here, customers can choose to pay only 70-percent of the cost of the realme X7 and realme X7 Pro. After twelve months, they have the option to pay the remaining 30-percent or upgrade to the next realme X series by again paying for only 70-percent of the cost.
As far as we can tell, the realme Upgrade Program is only for India. So, we have our fingers crossed hoping for a similar implementation in the Philippines.
realme X7 Pro 5G
The realme X7 Pro 5G features a souped-up a 6.4-inch FHD Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3, 103% NTSC, and up to 1,200 nits of brightness.
The handset is powered by a 2.6GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip, bringing 5G and a 20% faster performance versus the previous generation. realme claims the chip’s speed can reach 540,000+ on AnTuTu.
At the back are four cameras led by a 64MP main camera backed by a Sony IMX 686 sensor. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP portrait or depth, and a 2MP macro. Its cameras includes standout features such as the Super Nightscape Mode 4.0 and the built-in Night Filters Cyberpunk, Flamingo and Modern Gold.

For selfies, a 32MP camera is tucked in the punch hole. It supports UIS video stabilization and up to 1080p/30fps videos.
The handset also has a 4,500mAh battery with 65-watt SuperDart fast charging, capable of a full charge in just 35 minutes.

The realme X7 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a regular 60Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 600 nits of brightness.
Its powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U with 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB memory configurations. There’s a 4,310mAh battery inside that supports 50-watt SuperDart charging. realme included a 65-watt charger in the retail box.
The phone has a triple camera setup with a 64MP main, an 8Mp ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro. It also has a 16MP selfie camera in a punch hole.
The rest of the spec sheet includes a USB-C, 5G+5G dual SIM dual standby capabilities.
