OPPO launches the Reno5 5G and 4G models in the Philippines. The two smartphones are now available for pre-order with a price of Php 23,999 and Php 18,999, respectively.
The OPPO Reno5 series are equipped with powerful 64MP quad cameras and superior selfie shooters — 32MP for the Reno5 5G and 44MP for Reno5 4G.
Among the phones’ many new camera features, a few stand out. First, you have OPPO’s new Full Dimension Fusion (FDF) Portrait Video System, an imaging system for portrait video effects designed to boosts creativity and quality.
Second, there’s Reno5 4G offers AI Mixed Portrait. The industry-first video feature brings double exposure video effects to your smartphone.
And finally, you have the new Dual-View Video. The feature enables videos to be captured from both the front and rear cameras at the same time. Here, the phone does all the work by stitching you and the object you are shooting in the same video frame at once.
At the front, the Reno5 series come with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, and a responsive 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The Reno5 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 5G connectivity, while the Reno5 4G is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip. Both handsets come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, with ColorOS 11.1 Android 11 at the helm.

And for the battery capacities, the 5G model has a 4,300mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Fast Charging. The 4G model is equipped with a similar 4,310mAh Battery with a slightly slower 50W SuperVOOC 2.0 Fast Charging.
Price and Availability
The OPPO Reno5 5G and Reno5 4G has a price of Php 23,999 and Php 18,999, respectively. Pre-order period is from February 10 to 19, 2021 in OPPO concept and online stores, partner dealers, and e-commerce partners Shopee and Lazada.
Pre-orders will come with a free Kuyou Smart Watch worth Php 3,999. A non-refundable down payment of Php 1,000 is required to complete the reservation process. Claiming of reserved unit will start on February 20.

The OPPO Reno5 will also soon be available with Smart Signature 5G Plan 2299 with minimal cash-out at Smart Stores nationwide and via the Smart Online Store. The plan also comes with 30GB of data, unli allnet calls and texts, and 150 minutes of calls to PLDT.
The Reno5 is also available with Globe ThePLAN through www.globe.com.ph. Under ThePLAN 1499, it comes with no cash out and a free Rock Space EB51 True Wireless Stereo Earbuds worth Php 3,199. ThePLAN 1499 comes with 11GB of data, Unli All-Net Texts and Unli All-Net Calls.
While OPPO Reno5 5G will be available through ThePLAN 1799 with a Php 1,200 one-time cash-out and comes with a free Kuyou Smart Watch. It also comes with 16GB of data, Unli All-Net Texts, and Unli All-Net Calls.
The handsets are also available via Home Credit with 0% interest. Reno5 4G is available under 6-month, 9-month, 12-month, 15-month, and 18-month installment plans. While the Reno5 5G is available under 9-month, 12-month, 15-month, and 18-month installment plans.
The Reno5 5G comes in Galactic Silver and Starry Black, while the Reno5 4G comes in Fantasy Silver and Starry Black. Both handsets will be officially available in the Philippines starting February 20.
