TL;DR: Data of over 500 Facebook accounts have leaked online again.
The information found on the data is quite detailed and includes complete names, birthdays, countries of origin, email addresses, phone numbers, and relationship statuses. According to Business Insider, some of the data are up-to-date.
It appears this is the same dataset that was leaked back in 2019. Only this time, the information is available for free.
If you want to find out if you’re Facebook data is on the dataset, you can go to Have I Been Pwned to find out. At this point, though, it can only check using your email address. The developers of the page are still considering whether or not to include the leaked phone numbers in the service.
To ensure the security of your Facebook account, it’s best to change it every month. Check out our tutorial on how to do it. And be sure to activate two-factor authentication as well to add another layer of security.
