Netflix drops the second trailer of the animated Masters of the Universe: Revelation series, revealing more information about the show.

It picks up where the original 80’s cartoon He-Man and the Master’s of the Universe left off. We see Teela, voiced by Sarah Michelle Gellar, trying to reunite the now fractured heroes after what seems like a devastating battle between He-Man and Skeletor with magic now gone from Eternia.

Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation

The Masters of the Universe: Revelation is developed by Kevin Smith and produced by Powerhouse Animation Studios. Its voice cast has many popular names, including Chris Wood as He-Man, Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Liam Cunningham as Man-At-Arms, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man, Dennis Haysbert as King Grayskull, and Justin Long as Roboto, to name a few.

The first five episodes of the Masters of the Universe: Revelation animated series will stream on Netflix Philippines on July 23, 2021, 3:00PM. More episodes will come at a later time.

Synopsis: The war for Eternia culminates in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.
