Netflix is bringing back ‘Black Mirror’ for seventh season slated for 2025

The upcoming season would include a sequel to the fan-favorite episode "USS Callister".

Netflix announced the return of the critically acclaimed series Black Mirror. The streaming giant confirmed that the dystopian anthology will be back for its seventh season in 2025, featuring six new episodes that promise to delve into the complex relationship between humanity and technology.

Specific details about the episodes remain under wraps. However, it also revealed that the upcoming season would include a sequel to the fan-favorite episode “USS Callister” from season four, which will follow the rest of the the crew of the USS Callister amidst the death of Captain Robert Daly.

Charlie Brooker, the mastermind behind the series, will continue to serve as the creative force for these new episodes. Alongside Brooker, executive producers Annabel Jones and Jessica Rhoades will oversee the production.
