These Android apps are stealing Facebook passwords, delete them immediately

These 9 Android apps come with a Trojan that will steal your Facebook passwords. Delete them immediately if these are installed on your Android phone.

The malicious apps were identified by researchers from Dr. Web, an anti-virus program for PC and phones. At the time of writing, the apps have already been removed by Google from the Play Store.

Combined, the apps have been downloaded over 5.8 million times.

So, what should you do if you have the apps on your phone or if you have used them? First, you should uninstall the app.

We recommend you add an extra layer of protection by activating two-factor authentication or 2FA. This way, even if your password was compromised, they would still need to enter a code to proceed.
