Smart unveils GigaPay with PayMaya, an in-app payment system on the GigaLife App

Smart Communications unveils GigaPay with PayMaya, a new GigaLife App in-app payment feature that makes it simpler and easier for you to buy load, and subscribe to data promos, among others, straight from your phone.

Through GigaPay, all subscribers of Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, Smart Bro, Prepaid Home WiFi, and TNT may link their PayMaya account to the GigaLife App to make it their payment source for all in-app transactions.

With the link, Smart subscribers can make purchases without getting off the GigaLife App and just use its GigaPay feature for a much smarter and more seamless way to pay.

For its initial rollout, GigaPay users can also reload at all available PayMaya cash-in touchpoints nationwide, conveniently keep track of all transaction history, and get a rewarding experience by earning more GigaPoints, which can be used to redeem data offers and exclusive lifestyle perks on the app.

How to link your PayMaya account to your GigaLife App

To activate GigaPay, you first have to link your PayMaya account to your GigaLife App. The process is quick and easy.

You will need to have setup your PayMaya and GigaLife App. If not, both apps are available for download (for FREE) on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

  1. Login to your GigaLife App.
  2. Swipe to the left to go to the GigaPay page and “tap to link or create a wallet.”
  3. Agree to the Privacy Notice and tap Continue.
  4. Enter your PayMaya mobile number and password. Tap Link Wallet to continue.
  5. Enter OTP.
  6. Tap Approve and Activate GigaPay.

That’s it. Once GigaPay has been activated, buying load and subscribing to promos on the GigaLife App can be as easy as clicking your preferred offer and swiping across your screen to confirm your purchase.
