PayMaya will soon charge an instaPay transfer fee of Php 15 starting September 13, 2021. The e-wallet service has sent SMS messages to inform its users.
The fee is for instaPay transactions, which means it will apply to interbank money transfers such asPayMaya to bank and PayMaya to other e-wallets. PayMaya to PayMaya transfers will likely still be free.
Other e-wallet services like GCash have since implemented charging an instaPay transaction fee for some time now, and it was just a matter of time before PayMaya did the same.
