ASUS recently announced the new Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, a 2-in-1 Windows 11 device and the world’s first 13.3-inch Windows detachable laptop.
The slate rewrites the rules to make it easier to enjoy everything, everywhere, with a bright OLED touchscreen panel and a quad-core Intel processor.
The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED comes with a detachable full-size keyboard with a touchpad and a cover stand that has a 170-degree hinge and a high-precision ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus, neatly stored in a magnetic pen holder.
The stylus offers a 4096-level pressure sensitivity, 350-gram pen-tip force, and a 266Hz sampling rate. It also comes with four interchangeable pen tips that mimic 2H, H, HB, and HB pencils that provide a truly natural feel for sketching and drawing.
The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED has a 13.3-inch OLED Dolby Vision touchscreen with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, a PANTONE Validated with a cinema-grade panel with a 100% DCI-P3 gamut for accurate, DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
This OLED display also has a fast 0.2-millisecond response time and improved eye protection with naturally lower blue-light levels — up to 70% lower than an LCD display — that deliver TÜV Rheinland-certified eye care.

As for performance and productivity, it has a quad-core 3.3 GHz Intel processor with an Intel Bridge technology that allows any Android app to run on Windows 11. There are also two USB-C ports, an audio jack, and a microSD card reader. And for fast one-touch login, there’s an optional fingerprint sensor on the power button.
The device has a 5MP camera at the front for clear video calls, and a 13MP rear camera for taking quick photos or videos. It is also equipped AI Noise-Canceling Audio means that voices in meetings are as clear as possible, even when there are lots of people in the room.
Completing the experience is the powerful quad-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, which uses a smart amplifier to safely drive the four wide-range speakers at their maximum possible distortion-free volume — up to 3.5 times louder than with a standard amplifier — for rich and clear audio.
Availability
Available in early 2022, the Artist Editions are designed in collaboration with artists Steven Harrington and Philip Colbert. Steven Harrington is a Californian contemporary artist, and his Artist Edition offers a unique design inspired by his quirky art pieces. The Philip Colbert Artist Edition is a surrealist take by this London-based contemporary artist.
All special editions include a special cover stand, wallpaper, a special box, a sleeve, a keyboard, a hardcover case, and keyboard stickers. The Philip Colbert Artist Edition also comes with a pair of limited-edition shoelaces. Every standard edition Vivobook 13 Slate OLED comes bundled with a keyboard, cover stand, and ASUS Pen 2.0.
