Google Play’s Best of 2021: Top apps and games in the Philippines

Google recently released its Google Play’s Best of 2021 list, showcasing and awarding the top apps and games of the year. While they listed what’s popular in the US, we have here the ones for the Philippines. The list includes several titles across different categories, such as Best Apps, Best Game, Best Competitive, and more.

Compared to the US list of apps and games, the Philippine list concentrates more on games with the Best Apps grouped in alphabetical order.

According to Google, the best game in the Philippines is Ragnarok X: Next Generation from developer Nuverse, published by South Korean company GRAVITY Co. The MMORPG is a faithful adaptation of the popular PC game Ragnarok Online. The mobile game launched in several countries (including the Philippines) on June 18, 2021.
