Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 now available in the PH: 10.5-inch WUXGA display, quad speakers

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is now available in the Philippines. It features a large display and quad speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The tablet has a starting price of Php 13,990, and is now available in stores with freebies until February 28, 2022.

The Galaxy Tab A8 has a 10.5-inch WUXGA display with 16:10 aspect ratio and a 1920 x 1200 resolution. It is powered by an unnamed 2GHz octa-core processor (a quick Google said it’s a Unisoc Tiger T618 chip) with 4GB RAM.

There are two variants — Wi-Fi only with 64GB storage and LTE with 128GB storage. It also has an 8MP rear and a 5MP front camera, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, face unlock, Multi-Active Window support, Android 11, and a 7,040mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold beginning January 11, 2022. The Wi-Fi (64GB) variant will be priced at Php 13,990, while the LTE (128GB) variant will be priced at Php 18,990.

From January 11 to February 28, 2021, customers will get a free Book Cover worth Php 2,599 with the Galaxy Tab A8 LTE, and a free Clear Edge Cover worth Php 1,299 with the Galaxy Tab A8 Wi-Fi.
