realme is set to launch the realme 9 Pro series this February 16. The keyword here is “series,” which means we will likely see more than one device under the branding.
The highlight of the upcoming devices is its camera system. A tweet by Francis Wong, CMO of realme India and Europe, reveals that the handsets will come with a Sony IMX766 sensor.
Meanwhile, another tweet from realme Global shows off its Light Shift Design, where the handset’s color transitions from blue to red as light hits it.
The Light Shift Design of the #realme9ProSeries is inspired by the transition of the sky from dusk to dawn. A seamless shift from blue to red!

As for the other specs, leaks and rumors reveal a 90Hz IPS display, Snapdragon 695 5G, 64MP camera, and 33W fast charging for the realme 9 Pro.
The realme 9 Pro+, on the other hand, will have a 90Hz AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dimensity 920 5G, a 50MP Sony IMX766 camera, and a faster 60W fast charging.
Of course, do take these with a grain of salt considering it’s not official.
We’ll find out soon, though. The realme 9 Pro series will launch globally on February 16. Stay tuned for more details.
