OPPO is scheduled to launch the Reno7 5G and Reno7 Z 5G in the Philippines on March 18, 7 PM. You can watch the live stream on all of OPPO’s channels, including YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.
To recap, the OPPO Reno7 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD LTPS OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support.
The mid-range smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB expandable storage. It has a 4500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The OPPO Reno7 5G has a 64MP triple camera setup at the back, and a 32MP selfie camera in front. It also features Wi-Fi 6, an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and ColorOS 12 on top of Android 11.
The Reno7 Z 5G, on the other hand, was recently unveiled earlier this month. It has a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and features the OPPO Glow design.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 4500mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The Reno7 Z 5G has a 64MP main camera and a 16MP selfie shooter. It also features the Dual Orbit Lights, notification LEDs placed around the cameras.
Price
Local pricing has not yet been announced. But based on prices in Thailand, the OPPO Reno7 5G retails for THB 12,990 while the Reno7 Z 5G for THB 16,990. With that, our best guess is the phones will likely have a price tag of around ~Php 26,999 and ~Php 19,999, which isn’t far off from the price of the Reno6 series when it launched here in the Philippines.
