realme Pad Mini set to launch first in the Philippines

realme teases the launch of the realme Pad Mini, the brand’s upcoming 8-inch tablet. It was back in February when rumors about the device first appeared online, and now, it will debut first in the Philippines.

A teaser was posted on Facebook, showing the Pad Mini held with one hand with a similar design language as the 10.4-inch realme Pad.

As for the specs, the realme Pad Mini will come with an 8.7-inch display with a 1340 x 700 resolution surrounded by narrow bezels. It has an aluminum body with a slim 7.6mm frame, weighing only 372 g.

Under the hood, the Pad Mini is powered by Unisoc T616 processor, an entry-level 12nm chip with two ARM Cortex A75 cores and six ARM Cortex A55 cores. There are three variants — 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB for the LTE variant, and a 3GB + 32GB Wi-Fi only version.

The compact tablet is also equipped with a 6400mAh battery with 18W fast charging. While leaks point to it having an 8MP rear and 5MP front cameras.
