OPPO A57 5G official with 90Hz display, Dimensity 810 chip

OPPO recently unveiled the OPPO A57 5G in China. It’s a budget 5G phone with a 90Hz display and a Dimensity 810 chipset.

The smartphone has a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 1612 x 720 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s not as sharp as a full HD display, but it is smooth and has a wide color gamut with 100% DCI-P3 on Vivid mode and 100%sRGB on Natural mode.

Under the hood, it has a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with 6GB or 8GB RAM and up to 5GB more virtual RAM. Storage capacity is 128GB. While the battery is set at 5000mAh.

At the back are dual cameras with a 13MP main and a 2MP depth. It also has an 8MP selfie camera on a waterdrop notch.

The phone boasts of an esports antenna, which is situated on the side so it doesn’t get covered by a hand during gameplay. The system automatically switches to it if the phone needs a stronger signal.

The OPPO A57 5G has a streamlined design with flat sides, a 7.99mm thickness, and a weight of just 186g. It also comes with stereo speakers, a USB-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a side fingerprint scanner.

As for the price, only the 8GB + 128GB model is listed at CNY 1,499 or roughly ~Php 12,300 or ~USD 235. No news yet of local availability.
