Xiaomi launches its second premium foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. The handset features a sleek design, along with top-notch specs, including a 120Hz refresh rate OLED displays and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The Mix Fold 2 boasts a thin design, measuring just 5.4mm when open and 11.2mm when its folded. In comparison, the impressive Galaxy Z Fold4 measures 6.3mm and 15.8mm, respectively.
The inside display measures 8-inches with an OLED panel sporting 2K+ resolution, up to 1300 nits of brightness, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. While the cover display has a 6.56-inch LTPO2 OLED panel, also with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and up to 1400 nits brightness.
Inside, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the most powerful chipset at the moment. It has 12GB RAM and three storage options 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
As for the cameras, there are three at the back, namely a 50MP main backed by a Sony IMX766 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto. While inside, there’s a 20MP selfie shooter underneath a small punch hole.
The Mix Fold 2 also comes with a 4500mAh battery with 67W PD fast charging, and runs on MIUI Fold 13 on top of Android 12.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is available in Black and Gold colorways. In China, it is priced at CNY 8,999 for the 12GB+256GB model (~P74,400), CNY 9,999 for the 12GB+512GB model (~P82,600), and CNY 11,999 for the top 12GB+1TB model (~P99,100).
At the moment, Xiaomi has not yet announced if the foldable will be available to global markets.
