Samsung today launches its latest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold4, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip4. Pre-orders are now open in the Philippines, with freebies and discounts valued at up to P33,500.
The Galaxy Z Fold4 comes with a stronger hinge, rated at 200,000 folds. It also sturdier with an Armor Aluminum frame.
The main screen is a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex Display, while the one on the cover is a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display. Both have 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The foldable is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with 12GB RAM and either 128GB and 256GB storage. A 512GB model is also available as a Samsung.com exclusive, along with a 256GB Beige model.
As for the cameras, the Galaxy Z Fold4 has a triple camera setup with a 50MP main, alongside a 10MP telephoto and a 12MP ultra-wide. The selfie camera has a 10MP sensor, while on the inside, there’s a 4MP under display cover camera.
Battery capacity is rated at 4,400mAh with wired and wireless fast charging and reverse charging. According to Samsung, the 25W charger can fill up the battery from zero to 50% in just a 30 minutes.

Pre-order starts on August 10, 10:00 PM to September 1, 2022.
