Smart Omega wins CODM Garena Masters III, tops Blacklist International Ultimate

Smart Omega wins the Call of Duty Mobile Garena Masters III, beating Blacklist International Ultimate 3-2 to retain the crown.

The two teams were destined for a rematch, since they last saw each other at the Garena Masters II, which saw Smart Omega take the championship.

Both teams have shaken up their rosters with Smart Omega acquiring Nel “R1SKY” Buemio and Blacklist adding Shan Rouise “FDx” Mateo.

During the grand finals match, Blacklist International Ultimate took the first game in Hardpoint at the Firing Range. Smart Omega bounced back, and took the next two games, Search and Destroy at Standoff and Control at Raid. Blacklist climbed back up with a decisive win to take the fourth game of Hardpoint at Takeoff.

In the fifth game, Smart Omega dominated with a big win in Search and Destroy at Summit.

Smart Omega took home the grand prize of USD 10,000. Meanwhile, first runner up Blacklist International Ultimate receives USD 4,000.

The Garena Masters III 2022 is the first offline Call of Duty Mobile Masters tournament in two years. The live event was held at the Manila Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel in Newport, Manila.
