OPPO brings the Reno8 5G and the Reno8 Z 5G to the Philippines. The Pro variant was not mentioned, so details of its arrival is still unknown.
The official prices of the phones have not yet been announced either, but leaks have been circulating online. According to stores around the metro, the OPPO Reno8 5G has an SRP of Php27,999, while the Reno8 Z 5G, essentially a rebranded Reno7 Z 5G, will go for Php19,999.
The big announcement here is the OPPO Reno8 5G, which received significant upgrades compared to its predecessors. The smartphone has a sleek unibody build with a 90Hz 6.4-inch FHD OLED display, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
It has a triple camera setup with a 50MP main, backed by a Sony IMX766 sensor, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro shooters. Meanwhile, the 32MP front snapper has a Sony IMX709 sensor.
Other significant specifications include an in-display fingerprint scanner, VC liquid cooling, and a 4500mAh battery with a blazing 80W fast charging.
As for the Reno8 Z 5G, we won’t dwell too much on it since its just a rebranded Reno7 Z 5G with slight changes to the back camera design. Specs, however, remain the same with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 695, 8GB+128GB config, triple 64MP cameras, and a 4500mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
