vivo launches the vivo Y16, its latest budget phone, in China and other markets. The smartphone is coming to Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, and quite possibly in the Philippines as well.

The smartphone features a 6.51-inch IPS display with an HD 1600 x 720 resolution. Under the hood, a MediaTek Helio P35 powers the phone with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.

At the back, there’s a 13MP main camera alongside a 2MP macro. While in front, a 5MP shooter handles selfies.

The rest of the phone’s specifications include a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging, Bluetooth 5 connectivity, a side fingerprint scanner, and Funtouch OS 12 on top of Android 12.

As for the pricing details, it varies per country. The vivo Y16 with 3GB+32GB has an SRP of Rp 1,799,000 in Indonesia, which converts to around ~Php 6,800+. In Malaysia, the 4GB+64GB is priced at RM599 (around ~Php 7,500+).
