HONOR 70 Lite with SD480+ and 50MP camera announced

HONOR unveiled a new budget smartphone. Meet the HONOR 70 Lite, which features a Snapdragon 480+ SoC, a 90Hz display, and a 50MP camera for a low cost.

The HONOR 70 Lite features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1600×720 and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It has a waterdrop notch housing an 8MP selfie camera.

The smartphone is powered by an 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Battery capacity is 5000mAh with 22.5W fast charging support.

At the back, a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera is arranged in a square module. The secondary cameras include a pair of 2MP sensors for depth and macro.

The phone runs on Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12. It also has a side fingerprint scanner, a headphone jack, and support for hi-res audio.

The HONOR 70 Lite comes in three colors, Ocean Blue, Titanium Silver, and Midnight Black, priced at £199.99 in the UK, which is around ₱13,400+ or $245.

There’s no information yet on availability in the Philippines.
