Acer unveiled the Predator Triton 16 (PT16-51), its latest gaming laptop that combines power and portability. The device runs on Windows 11 and is powered by up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processors and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, along with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe M.2 SSDs in RAID 0 configuration.
The Predator Triton 16 has a 16-inch 16:10 WQXGA IPS display with 2560×1600 resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, a DCI-P3 100% color gamut, and support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and NVIDIA G-SYNC. It is framed by narrow bezels, giving the laptop a sleek and elegant look.
To keep the laptop cool and quiet during intense gaming sessions, Acer has equipped it with a dual-fan system with custom-engineered 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D metal fans, which can increase airflow by up to 55 percent. The laptop also features Acer’s Vortex Flow technology, which consists of dedicated heat pipes and exhaust vents to optimize the airflow inside the chassis. Additionally, the laptop uses liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU to enhance heat dissipation and performance.
The Predator Triton 16 also comes with a range of features that enhance the gaming experience, such as the per-key RGB backlight keyboard, the PredatorSense utility app that allows users to customize various settings, the fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support, and one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for access to over 100 games.
The laptop features full connectivity options, including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI 2.1, a Type-C USB port with Thunderbolt 4, and a Micro SD card reader. It also supports Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro and Wi-Fi 6E (E2600+1675i).
