Xbox fans got to enjoy another round of exciting reveals and updates on Thursday, as Microsoft hosted the Xbox Games Showcase Extended 2023, a follow-up to its E3 presentation.
The event featured more details and gameplay footage from some of the upcoming titles for the Xbox Series X|S and PC, as well as interviews with developers and creators. Here are all the announcements and trailers from the showcase:
- Avowed: A dark and gritty first-person RPG from Obsidian Entertainment set in the world of Eora. Avowed is slated for a 2024 release. Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Steam, Xbox Cloud Gaming – Available day one with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass
- Towerborne: A new adventure from the creators of the Banner Saga. Explore a world of seasons and lore, and join random events and challenges in the open world. - 33 Immortals: A new action game from the creators of Spiritfarer. Join 30 other players in a co-op roguelike with unique characters and abilities. - Microsoft Flight Simulator – Dune Expansion: A free content update for Microsoft Flight Simulator that features the world of Dune. - Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II: The sequel to the acclaimed Senua’s Sacrifice. Follow Senua’s story with performance-capture technology that brings her to life. - Variant Exosuits and Savage Gauntlet Bring Even More Customization and Player Choice to Exoprimal: A new update for Exoprimal that adds new variant Exosuits that change the gameplay, and a new co-op mode called Savage Gauntlet that tests your skills against dino hordes. - Go Mecha Ball: A physics-based 3D platform roguelite game where you can switch between a walking mech and a rolling ball. - The Lamplighters League: The pulp adventure game from the creators of The Shadowrun Trilogy and BattleTech. - ID@Xbox Reveals 10 Games Coming to Game Pass: A montage of 10 new indie games coming to Game Pass on their Xbox launch day: Galacticare, Techtonica, Another Crab’s Treasure, The Wandering Village, Neon White, Harold Halibut, Mineko’s Night Market, The Bookwalker, Sea of Stars and Little Kitty Big City.
- ID@Xbox Developer Accelerator Program Introduces Its Games: A showcase of 11 games from underrepresented creators that have come through the ID@Xbox Developer Accelerator Program: Despelote, Drag Her!, El Paso, Elsewhere, Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, Naiad, Spirit Swap: Lofi Beats to Match-3 To, Island of Winds, Sonzai, Psychroma, Botany Manor, and Slime Heroes.
- The Elder Scrolls Online: The latest chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online features the city of Necrom and its secrets. The developers break down the footage and discuss why it’s worth jumping into the game today for new and returning players. Available now on PC/Mac and coming soon to consoles.
