The C4050 can print multiple label variations for various industries, such as GHS chemicals, MICE events, medical, manufacturing, food and beverage, and retail sectors. The C4050 offers improved print quality and efficiency with its upgraded PrecisionCore TFP Printhead technology. The new printhead can print high-resolution images of up to 1200×1200 dpi and has a spot color-matching function to ensure accurate and detailed labels.
The C4050 can print on-demand color labels with paper-saving and ink-saving features, reducing labeling costs and waste. It also has an Auto Head Maintenance feature that checks and cleans the printhead nozzles automatically at predefined times. Moreover, the C4050 also allows users to choose the appropriate print mode according to the media used and comes with Matte Black or Gloss Black ink cartridges for better media compatibility.
The printer uses three colors Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow DURABrite Ultra Pigment premium water-resistant ink to produce vivid and durable labels. It is versatile and flexible, as it can print on a wide range of inkjet label substrates and two media feeds. The printer also supports Wi-Fi connectivity via a separate dongle accessory, which enables seamless printing from various mobile devices.
The C4050 label printer, Epson’s pigment inks, and its approved media are also BS5609 certified and compliant with GHS standards for label output. It is compatible with Mac and Linux users and supports middleware such as BarTender, NiceLabel, and CodeSoft. ESC/Label command support is also provided for businesses that want to develop programs to control the printer. Moreover, the C4050 has higher-capacity ink cartridges that allow for larger print volumes without ink wastage.
