POCO M6 Pro 5G launched: Budget-friendly smartphone with a powerful processor

POCO's latest smartphone offers 5G connectivity and performance at an affordable price.

POCO launched its latest smartphone, the POCO M6 Pro 5G, in India. The device is a budget-friendly option for 5G enthusiasts, as it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which is one of the first 4nm chipsets in the market.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G has a 6.79-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2460×1080 pixels. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the front. The phone comes with three memory variants: 4GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. The variants support microSD cards for additional storage.

The phone has a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps. The front-facing camera is an 8MP shooter under a hole punch cutout.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G has a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging via a USB Type-C port. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an infrared port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual SIM support. The phone runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.

Price & Availability

The POCO M6 Pro 5G is priced at INR 11,999 (about PHP 8,200) for the 4GB+64GB version, INR 13,499 (about PHP 9,200) for the 6GB+128GB version, and INR 15,499 (about PHP 10,500) for the 8GB+256GB version. The phone is available in two colors: Power Black and Forest Green.

It’s not yet known if or when the POCO M6 Pro will launch in the Philippines.
