Xiaomi launches the Redmi A3 in the Philippines with little fanfare. Announced in February, the budget phone features a large 90Hz display, a 5000mAh battery, and a leather-like design.
Looking at what it offers, the Redmi A3 has surprisingly good value. At the front, it has a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 1650×720 resolution, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It also has a modest 5MP front camera under a water drop notch.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It has a large 5000mAh battery with a 10W USB-C fast charging support.
The Redmi A3 has a dual camera setup at the back with an 8MP camera and an AI auxiliary lens. It also has a side fingerprint scanner for secured unlocking and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price and Availability
The Redmi A3 is available for pre-order. It comes in Midnight Black, Star Blue, or Olive Green with a leather texture design. In the Philippines, the 3GB+64GB variant is priced at PHP 3,399, while the 4GB+128GB variant is priced at PHP 3,999.
Pre-orders are bundled with free Basic Piston wired earphones. You can find them in Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
