A mid-range smartphone with a 50MP selfie camera and a 120Hz display.

vivo launched its latest mid-range device, the vivo V29e, in India. The phone features eye-catching colors, a textured back panel, a large AMOLED screen, and a big battery.

The vivo V29e features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260×2800 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is a 5G-enabled processor with eight cores and an Adreno 619 GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.

The vivo V29e boasts a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), and an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. While at the front, the phone has a 50MP selfie camera, which has an f/2.45 aperture and autofocus.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W wired charging. The phone runs on Android 13 with Funtouch 13 on top. It also offers dual-SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port.

The vivo V29e is available in two color options: Artistic Red and Artistic Blue. The phone is priced at INR 26,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and INR 28,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.

There is no word yet on the global availability of the phone.
