Philippines’ SIBOL wins Mobile Legends: Bang Bang title at IESF World Esports Championship 2023

Congratulations to team SIBOL!

The Philippines team SIBOL made history on Friday as they claimed the championship title at the IESF World Esports Championship 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament. They defeated Indonesia in a dominant 3-1 in the best-of-five grand finals, earning themselves the lion’s share of the USD 100,000 and the honor of being the best MLBB team in the world.

The IESF World Esports Championship 2023, hosted by the International Esports Federation (IESF) and MOONTON Games, was held in Iași, Romania from August 28 to September 3. Sixteen national teams from across the globe competed in the MLBB tournament, which had a total prize pool of USD 100,000.

The Philippines team SIBOL showed their prowess and teamwork throughout the tournament. They faced Turkey in the upper bracket finals and won 2-0, and then faced Indonesia in the grand finals and won 3-1 to become the champions.
