Samsung Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s now official

Samsung quietly launched two new smartphones in its Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A05 and the Galaxy A05s, in Malaysia. The devices offer large displays, 50MP cameras, and 5000mAh batteries at affordable prices.

The Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s share some common features, such as a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen, a 50MP main camera, a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging, and 6GB+128GB configurations. However, there are some differences between the two models in terms of resolution, processor, and design.

The Galaxy A05 has an HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels, powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It also has a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy A05s, on the other hand, has an FHD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. It has a triple rear camera setup, adding a 2MP macro sensor, had a 13MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy A05 and the Galaxy A05s also have different designs, with the Galaxy A05 having a smaller notch. The Galaxy A05 is available in three colors: black, silver, and light green, while the Galaxy A05s comes in four colors: black, silver, light green, and pink.

The price and availability details of the Samsung Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s are not yet revealed. Both devices, however, are expected to launch in other markets soon.
