The SM Mall of Asia Arena will be the venue for the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals, where 26 teams from across the region will compete for the prestigious Predator Shield and a share of the $100,000 prize pool.
The two-day event, which will take place on January 13 and 14, 2024, will feature the best VALORANT players in the Asia Pacific, who have qualified through regional tournaments held throughout 2023. VALORANT is a popular tactical shooter game developed by Riot Games, the makers of League of Legends.
“Predator League is our commitment to further building the gaming community in APAC. We are excited to bring the Asia Pacific Predator League to Manila, which has one of the biggest esports fanbases,” said Manuel Wong, Managing Director at Acer Philippines.
The VALORANT grand finals will have a single-elimination bracket, with best-of-three matches for the quarterfinals and semifinals, and a best-of-five match for the grand final. The winning team will take home $65,000, while the runner-up will receive $20,000. The third and fourth-place teams will each get $7,500.
The Asia Pacific Predator League is a flagship esports tournament organized by Acer. Since its inception in 2018, the Predator League has been a platform for aspiring esports talents to showcase their skills and passion in the grandest of stages.
