vivo unveiled its latest flagship series, the vivo X100, which features the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and a groundbreaking camera system. The X100 series consists of two models, the X100 and the X100 Pro, with the X100 Pro+ expected to arrive in early 2024.
The vivo X100 series is the first to showcase the Dimensity 9300, which is MediaTek’s most powerful processor to date. The Dimensity 9300 is a 4nm octa-core chip with an all big core design and an Immortalis-G720 GPU. It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, as well as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The vivo X100 and X100 Pro both sport a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It also features an under-display fingerprint scanner and a small punch-hole selfie camera.

The main highlight of the vivo X100 series is the camera system, which is co-engineered with Zeiss. The X100 Pro boasts a triple 50MP camera setup, consisting of 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensors, including the ultra-wide-angle and periscope telephoto cameras. The periscope lens is the first of its kind to use the Zeiss Vario-APO-Sonnar lens, which offers 100mm equivalent focal length and up to 100x digital zoom.
The vivo X100 has a similar camera configuration, except that it uses a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX920 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto periscope camera. Both models have a 32MP selfie camera.
The vivo X100 series runs on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 on top. It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging charging. The X100 Pro, meanwhile, has a slightly larger 5400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
