Apple unveils 2023 App Store Awards winners

Apple announced the winners of the 2023 App Store Awards, honoring the best apps and games of the year. The awards recognize 14 apps and games that inspired users to create, explore, and have fun.

The App Store Award winners were selected from nearly 40 finalists. The winners span across various categories, such as health, fitness, education, entertainment, and more.

Cultural Impact Winners

Apple’s App Store Editors also selected five Cultural Impact winners, recognized for their ability to drive positive change through apps and games. These are:

  • Pok Pok
    A playful and educational app that encourages children to explore their creativity and learn new skills. The app is a digital toy box that offers a variety of activities, such as drawing, painting, cooking, and gardening.
  • Proloquo
    An accessibility app with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools that help the world communicate in new ways.
  • Too Good To Go
    The app enables users to minimize food waste by connecting them with restaurants and stores that have a surplus of unsold food at an affordable cost.
  • Unpacking
    The app mixes meditative puzzles to create a soothing triumph around familiar experiences of change and connection.
  • Finding Hannah
    The app is a colorful coming-of-age, hidden-object game with inclusive and heartfelt tales that explore the power of healing and self-discovery.

The 2023 App Store Awards winners are available on the App Store and can be downloaded or played on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Watch.
