OnePlus is set to unveil its latest flagship devices, the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, on January 23, 2024. The event called the OnePlus Smooth Beyond Belief Launch Event, will be live-streamed on the OnePlus website and social media channels.
The OnePlus 12 Series is comprised of the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R. The phones are designed to prove that devices don’t need to be “Plus”, “Pro”, or “Ultra” to provide the best hardware specs and software experience. Instead, the dual flagship each has unique attributes that give users the choice to pick what’s important for them on their next smartphone.
The OnePlus 12 is the camera flagship phone featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, Qualcomm’s most advanced chipset which features a 25% faster and more efficient GPU, and an upgraded AI Engine with support for multi-modal generative AI models. It also boasts the 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile with a new 64MP 3x periscope lens, and a new Flowy Emerald colorway, which is inspired by the natural beauty of emeralds.
The OnePlus 12R is the performance flagship phone of the series and will be the first member of the OnePlus R series to launch outside of India and China. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset as well.

Both flagship phones are set to be released at the OnePlus Smooth Beyond Belief Launch Event at 19:30 IST (22:00 PHT), on January 23, 2024. It will compete with other powerful flagships from renowned brands such as Apple, Samsung, OPPO, and vivo.
