Nothing teases Phone (2a)

The smartphone could be a midrange offering, if leaks are to be believed

Nothing will soon launch the Phone (2a), its upcoming smartphone. The handset could be a midrange offering from the brand if leaks are to be believed.

At the Nothing Community Update Q4 2023 video posted on YouTube, Nothing co-founder and marketing lead Akis Evangelidis added some context for the Phone (2a). He said Nothing is “doubling down on the core user needs,” such as the performance and camera, for the Phone (2a), while “leveraging on the most loved features of Phone (2)” and ensuring that it’s a “clear upgrade” from the first Nothing Phone on “every single front.”

According to some leaks and rumors, the Nothing Phone (2a) might have a 6.7-inch FHD AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, a 50MP dual rear camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery. Expect to see a transparent design and a variation of Nothing’s Glyph Interface. It is also rumored to command a price tag of around $400 or roughly P22,400.

Nothing Phones and accessories are available in the Phillippines, distributed in the country by Digital Walker.
